Society Looks for Help After Devastating Fire
December 2, 2006
A four-alarm fire destroyed the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Flat Rock on Friday
afternoon. The roof collapsed and destroyed all of the donated merchandise including:
clothes, furniture, household items, winter coats, Christmas toys, shoes and boots. "The fire struck at
the worst possible time, when our community needs us the most," commented Bill Brazier, Executive
Director.
Donations can be made to replace what was lost at the nine other St. Vincent de Paul store locations
