Responding Continually to St. Vincent’s Challenge 
The mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Foundation is to raise financial support for our new 21st century initiatives that will help the Archdiocesan Council of Detroit fulfill its strategic objectives.  The purpose of the Foundation board members is to gather together community leaders in support of our initiatives, assist in motivating them through personal visitation and sharing of information, and help them become involved with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Detroit by making significant contributions to our work.

The Foundation Board members will consist of those who can give substantially themselves and are encouraged to consider making sacrificial gifts, as both an example to others and a witness to their selfless commitment to alleviating the suffering and deprivation of the poor.  In addition, Board members will assist in opening doors to other prospective donors, and provide the names and contact information of their colleagues for cultivation, and those who can assist us in our efforts to tell more people in the greater community about the Society and its service to the needs of the poor in Southeast Michigan.
