Van Elslander Family Center
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Van Elslander Family Center is a multi-service center designed to provide services for the residents in the east side community where it is located. From child care to health care, from educational and job training programs to emergency services, the Van Elslander Family Center is a community partnership that is increasing access to basic community services.

JC Human Services* provides social and emotional training, behavior intervention, counseling, reflective supervision, and classroom coaching to support young children. 313.393.2871

Children’s Investment CDC Council* offers Early Childhood supportive services for Daycare owners, teachers and other professionals caring for young children. 313.393.2871

Emergency Services

St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Referral Center and Food Depot provide clothing and food in emergency situations. Open Mon, Wed and Fri. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 313.393.2920

Energy Assistance Program has limited funds available for utility assistance in collaboration with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish Conferences. 313.393.3036

Medical Services

St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic offers free dental services to adults lacking insurance. 313.393.3009
