Campaign for Hope
Lecture Event:
“Systemic Change and the Campaign to End Poverty”
You are cordially invited to attend a dynamic and compelling lecture on poverty presented by Rev. Dennis Holtschneider and hosted by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The event will take place at St. Hugo of the Hills Parish on Thursday, September 17, 2009.
Prior to the presentation, there will be a special Mass at 7:00 p.m. celebrating the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul followed by the presentation delivered by Rev. Holtschneider.
The topic of his talk is “Systemic Change and the Campaign to End Poverty.” Rev. Holtschneider will speak about the impact of poverty in the light of our current economic climate.
Rev. Holtschneider, C.M. is the current president of DePaul University located in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Bloomfield Hills and was a student at St. Hugo’s Elementary School.
There will be a champagne, wine and dessert reception at this special event.
