Metro Detroit has an abundance of clothing resources for low income individuals and families.  St. Vincent de Paul offers many ways for people to receive clothing at low or no cost, but there are still many more organizations and groups that will help those in need. Whether you need new clothes for a job interview, or are just looking for assistance with everyday clothing items, you're in the right place.

Michigan Works! Offices provides  a clothes closet of career clothing for interviews or work for people seeking employment or starting a new job.  The clothes closets are replenished by donations.

Please come very early (before 8:30 a.m.) so as to not disturb interviews.

Operates the Operation School Bell Program.  Every fall, children in need in the tri-county area receive

new winter wardrobes for school.  This includes a new coat, hat, gloves, underwear, socks, two tops, jeans,

voucher for shoes, backpack with book and hygiene kit.  Children are treated to a one-day shopping trip after

being referred by school districts in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties.
