Bundle Up Michigan Coat Drive

St. Vincent de Paul would like to thank those businesses and organizations that participated in the 2011 Bundle Up Michigan Coat Drive:  Office Express, First Catholic Credit Union, Accretive Solutions and Flame Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical - helped SVdP collect nearly 500 coats to help keep our neighbors in need warm this winter.  In addition, Office Express also matched financial contributions made by their customers!  On behalf of the people we serve, THANK YOU!

5th Annual More for the Poor Telethon

This year's telethon raised nearly $135,000 for SVdP.  This event is the largest combined fundraising and marketing effort for the Archdiocesan Council.

The event could not have been possible without the support of nearly 120 volunteers throughout the day.  Thank you to all who served on the telethon planning committee and to WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 for making it all possible.

Check out Channel 7's promotional coverage of the event by following this link.

A special thank you goes to our sponsors:  Sisters of St. Joseph of Nazareth and First Catholic Credit Union.

The Matchan Nutrition Center celebrated 27 years by hosting its Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on the Auburn Hills campus of Baker College to honor those individuals and organizations who volunteer their time preparing the meals, those organizations which donate much needed food and to all financial donors who contribute funds which allow Matchan to “pay the bills”.

Matchan Nutrition Center began serving our neighbors on May 14, 1984 operating out of the
gymnasium/cafeteria on the grounds of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish (recently re-named St.
